慰問信 【文體解讀】

　慰問信是向失敗者、生病者、不幸者、愁苦者或遇到天災人禍的人表示安慰或同情的信件。此類信要寫得及時、簡明扼要，感情要真誠，措辭要貼切，盡量以樂觀的口吻減輕親友的煩惱和痛苦，并鼓勵對方對日后煩人生活、學習、工作充滿信心。

　【寫作思路】

　第一步：引出事實，表達惋惜和同情； 第二步：安慰對方或鼓勵對方，預測未來； 第三步：表達愿望和祝福。

　【必備短語】

　1. on behalf of 代表 2. are supposed to 應該，也可以說成 be well supposed to do sth. 類似表達：be expected to do 有時可以和 should 替換使用。

　3. merely 僅僅，可以替換為 solely, only 【套用句式】

　15. Knowing that you are delayed in Wuhan, I am really getting upset about it.句子為現在分詞充當狀語的表達，可以豐富句子結構。
